§ 01
Who we are
Three people, one narrow job
MAFZ is a three-person studio doing search, design and build for US local service businesses. All three of us do all three disciplines, because the page that ranks and the page that converts have to be the same page.
01
Search and design in one team
Most agencies do one or the other. An SEO shop hands you a page it did not design; a design studio makes a page nobody can find. We do both, so the page that ranks is the page built to convert — and nobody gets to blame the other half.
02
You own the assets
Site, domain, hosting, analytics, Search Console, Google Business Profile. Registered in your accounts on day one. If you fire us you keep all of it, working, with no handover fee and no export request.
03
No lock-in, at all
Month to month from the first invoice, cancel whenever you like, no notice period and no exit fee. A twelve-month contract is a tool for keeping clients who would otherwise leave. We would rather have to earn the next month.
04
Reports that can say no
We report the metrics that map to revenue, and we say plainly when a month underperformed and what we are changing. A report that is always good news is not a report.
05
Everyone here does the whole job
There are three of us and all three do search, design and build. Nothing gets thrown over a wall between specialists, nothing waits in a queue for the one person who knows CSS, and there is no account manager relaying your question to someone you never meet.
06
Speed is part of the offer
A written audit inside two business days. A site live in three to four weeks, not three months. Small teams can move like this; the reason most agencies cannot is coordination overhead you would be paying for.
§ 02
Why local service only
We do not take SaaS, ecommerce or national brands. Local service is its own discipline: the map pack behaves differently from organic, a service radius is not a target market, and a review flow is worth more than a backlink campaign. An agency splitting its week between a startup and a roofer is learning your business on your budget.
Inside local service we are deliberately broad — plumbers, roofers, restoration, site services, clinics. The mechanics are the same and every audit we run makes the next one sharper.
“A bad-fit client costs us more than the invoice is worth. So we say no, in writing, in the audit.”
§ 03
Why not an agency down the road from you
A fair question, and one you should ask us on the call. Here is our honest answer, in the order we think it matters.
01
You are not buying half a service
Hire an SEO agency and you get traffic landing on a page they did not design. Hire a studio and you get a page nobody finds. Buying both means two invoices, two roadmaps and two parties who each blame the other when the phone stays quiet.
02
You get answers the same day
Audit in two business days, site live in three to four weeks. We work while you sleep and you read the update with your coffee — the time difference costs you nothing on turnaround and buys you a working day every day.
03
We only do this one thing
No SaaS, no ecommerce, no national brands. Every audit we run is another local service business, so the patterns we recognise on your site were paid for by somebody else's engagement, not yours.
04
The price is lower, and we will say why
We are based in Bangkok and our costs are lower than a US agency doing identical work. That is the whole explanation — not junior staff, not a template, not volume. Price alone is a bad reason to hire anyone, so judge us on the audit and treat the number as a bonus.
§ 04
Common questions
Including the ones that are awkward for us to answer.
Where are you based?
Three of us, working from Bangkok, serving clients across the United States. In practice work happens on your files overnight and you wake up to progress. We keep overlap hours for calls in your morning and answer email through your business day. If you would rather work with a US-based team we understand — but the work is the work, and the free audit shows you exactly what it looks like before you decide anything.
How long until I see results?
Technical fixes on an existing site can move rankings within two to six weeks, because those pages already had authority that was being split or blocked. New service-area pages typically take two to four months to mature in low-competition suburbs and considerably longer in dense metros. Anyone promising page one in thirty days is either buying links you will pay for later or targeting terms nobody searches.
Do I have to take the design too?
No. Plenty of engagements are SEO only, and if your site is a decent foundation we will leave it alone — a rebuild costs you weeks of ranking stability for no gain. We only recommend one when the existing site is a hard ceiling, usually a page builder that cannot hit Core Web Vitals or a template that makes real service-area pages impossible. The audit says which, in writing, before you spend anything.
Do you work with agencies?
Yes. White-label SEO and web builds for agencies who need local-service depth or overflow capacity, shipped unbranded or in your template, and we never contact your client directly. It is not the main thing we do, so ask early — we take on a limited number so it does not crowd out direct work.
Will you work with my competitor?
Not in the same market. If we take on a Phoenix plumber, we will not take another Phoenix plumber. The line is metro plus service line, and we will tell you if we already have someone in your area before you go any further.
What do you not do?
Paid ad management, social media, video production, and anything that involves buying links. If you need paid search we will tell you roughly what it should cost and refer you to someone who does it properly.
Next step
Find out what your site is costing you
Send your domain and the towns you deliver to. You get a written audit back within two business days: the technical faults, the service areas you have no page for, and the exact terms your closest competitor ranks for that you do not. No call required to receive it.
